Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Duty Doctor to join our healthcare team. The Duty Doctor will be responsible for providing primary and emergency medical care, diagnosing and treating patients, and ensuring high-quality healthcare services. This role requires quick decision-making, strong clinical skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Key Responsibilities: Provide immediate medical care to patients in emergency and outpatient settings. Diagnose and treat common illnesses, injuries, and infections. Monitor and manage admitted patients, ensuring timely intervention when needed. Assist senior doctors in medical procedures and patient management. Respond to medical emergencies and stabilize critical patients. Prescribe medications and suggest necessary diagnostic tests. Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records of patients. Coordinate with nurses, specialists, and support staff to ensure seamless patient care. Educate patients about their conditions, treatment plans, and preventive care measures. Adhere to hospital protocols, ethical medical practices, and government regulations. Skills & Qualifications: MBBS degree (MD/DNB preferred for senior positions). Strong knowledge of general medicine and emergency procedures. Excellent diagnostic and clinical decision-making skills. Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple cases simultaneously. Effective communication and interpersonal skills. Proficiency in using electronic medical records (EMR) systems. Willingness to work in shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays. Preferred Qualifications: Experience in a hospital or clinic setting. BLS (Basic Life Support) or ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support) certification. Prior experience in emergency medicine, ICU, or general practice.
