**Job Title**: Grinding Operator

**Department**: Production / Manufacturing

**Job Summary**:
The Grinding Operator is responsible for setting up, operating, and maintaining grinding machines to produce precision metal parts and components according to specifications. This role ensures that products meet quality standards, dimensions, and surface finishes required by the production and engineering teams.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Set up and operate surface, cylindrical, and centerless grinding machines.
- Interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, and work orders to determine product specifications and grinding instructions.
- Measure and inspect workpieces using precision measuring tools such as micrometers, calipers, and gauges.
- Monitor machine operations to detect any malfunctions and adjust as needed.
- Maintain grinding equipment and perform routine preventive maintenance.
- Ensure all work meets quality standards and production timelines.
- Record production data and maintain accurate job documentation.
- Follow safety procedures and maintain a clean, organized work area.
- Collaborate with quality control and maintenance teams when needed.
- Report defective materials or equipment malfunctions to supervisors.

**Qualifications**:

- High school diploma or GED; technical training or vocational certification in machining or manufacturing is a plus.
- Proven experience as a grinding operator or similar role in a manufacturing environment.
- Knowledge of different grinding methods (surface, cylindrical, centerless).
- Familiarity with shop math and measurement techniques.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints.
- Strong attention to detail and manual dexterity.
- Basic understanding of machine maintenance and troubleshooting.
- Ability to lift heavy materials and work in a physically demanding environment.
- Willingness to work shifts and overtime as required.

Pay: ₹23,000.00 per month
