Landscape Architect

**Description**:
A landscape architect is a professional who designs outdoor spaces and creates plans for their development. They consider a range of factors when designing a landscape, including the environment, ecology, zoning laws, cultural and historical significance, and the intended use of the space. Landscape architects work on a wide range of projects, including parks, gardens, residential communities, commercial developments, and public spaces.

**Responsibilities**:

- Conducting site analysis to determine the best use of the space, including consideration of topography, climate, and natural features.
- Developing concepts, sketches, and detailed drawings for the space, including materials and construction techniques.
- Collaborating with other professionals such as architects, engineers, and contractors to ensure the design is feasible and meets all relevant regulations.
- Selecting plants, trees, and other vegetation to enhance the space and meet environmental and aesthetic goals.
- Conducting environmental impact assessments and ensuring the design is in compliance with all relevant regulations and laws.
- Preparing cost estimates and schedules for projects, ensuring they stay within budget and on schedule.
- Supervising construction of the design, including overseeing contractors and ensuring the project is executed according to the plan.
- Maintaining records of projects, including contracts, invoices, and design documents.
- Presenting designs to clients, stakeholders, and local authorities for approval.
- Staying current with the latest design trends, materials, and technologies in the field.

**Duties**:

- create conceptual designs, master plans, and detailed drawings of outdoor spaces that are aesthetically pleasing and functional.
- analyze the natural and man-made features of a site, such as topography, soil conditions, and existing structures, to determine the best design solution.
- oversee the construction of the design and managing the project team, including architects, engineers, contractors, and horticulturists.
- estimate project costs, including materials, labor, and equipment, and negotiate contracts with contractors.
- must consider the impact of their designs on the environment and use sustainable design principles to minimize harm.
- work closely with clients to understand their needs, preferences, and budgets and communicating design ideas effectively.
- prepare detailed construction drawings and specifications to guide the construction process.
- responsible for ensure that their designs comply with local, state, and federal regulations, such as zoning codes and environmental protection laws.
- Create maintenance plans that ensure the long-term sustainability of outdoor spaces and their features.
- continue their professional development to stay current with new design trends, technologies, and regulations.

Contract length: 12 months

**Salary**: ₹15,121.17 - ₹60,244.14 per month
