The Role:
Responsible for developing and optimizing database models to store and retrieve company information. They analyze system requirements, migrate data, and design data models.

**Requirements**:
1. Data Strategy and Architecture:

- Develop and maintain the organization's data strategy and roadmap.
- Define and design the overall data architecture to support business objectives.
- Identify data sources, determine data quality requirements, and establish data integration and ingestion processes.
- Design data models, schemas, and data flow diagrams for efficient and optimized data storage and retrieval.

2. Data Governance and Management:

- Establish data governance policies, procedures, and standards.
- Ensure data security, privacy, and compliance with relevant regulations.
- Define and enforce data quality standards and data lifecycle management practices.
- Collaborate with data stewards to create and maintain data dictionaries, metadata repositories, and data lineage documentation.

3. Data Integration and ETL:

- Design and develop efficient data integration and ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) processes.
- Identify and implement appropriate data integration technologies, tools, and frameworks.
- Ensure data integration processes are scalable, reliable, and performant.
- Collaborate with data engineers to optimize data pipelines and workflows.

4. Data Analytics and Reporting:

- Collaborate with data scientists and analysts to understand analytical requirements.
- Design and implement data models and structures to support analytical needs.
- Develop strategies for data aggregation, analysis, and reporting.
- Optimize data storage and retrieval for analytical workloads.

5. Collaboration and Stakeholder Management:

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand their data needs.
- Work closely with business stakeholders to align data architecture with business goals.
- Communicate data architecture strategies, solutions, and recommendations to technical and non-technical audiences.
- Provide technical leadership and guidance to other team members.

Qualifications:

- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
- Proven experience as a Data Architect or a similar role.
- Strong knowledge of data management concepts, data modeling, and database design.
- Proficiency in data integration, ETL, and data pipeline development.
- Experience with cloud-based data platforms and technologies (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP).
- Familiarity with data governance practices, data security, and privacy regulations.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
