**Purpose of the Role**

Support the DIC by accomplishing efficient On time Delivery of design release, First time right, and Continual Improvement on skill in Design for Composite parts.

**Responsibilities & Accountabilities**
- Support the DIC by accomplishing efficient On time Delivery of design release, First time right, and Continual Improvement on skill in Design and Analysis.
- Support the DIC In manging the budget for Engineering department and ensuring that resources are used efficiently.
- Suggest innovative ideas to reduce cost and improve productivity and efficiency.
- Control the rejections so as to save costs and produce outputs that are as per specified quality standards and as per customer requirements.
- Enable customer satisfaction by driving efficiency in internal processes within the department.
- Ensure appropriate, suitable actions towards customer complaints, so as to facilitate both customer retention as well as identify methods that helps in preventing such breakdowns from recurring.
- Stress analysis (Composite & Metallic) and to checking the detail as per any OEM standards.
- To work with various analysis types such as linear statics, nonlinear statics (contact, material and large deformation), dynamics (normal modes and cyclic modal).
- Working knowledge of PATRAN/NASTRAN is most essential requirement. Familiarity with other FEA software will be an advantage
- Designing of composite parts through Composite Design (CPD) in Catia.
- Performing FE Modeling (Shell and Solid), FE Analysis for various structural Components.
- Good exposure on Material properties and allowable. Experience in Hand calculations.
- Providing design Suggestion /Modification based on failure.
- Interpreting and understanding FEA results, post-processing and preparing comprehensive analysis reports.
- Plan and promote continuous improvements in material, machine utilization and process to improve section & individual productivity, and quality of the product.
- Coordinate with the automation team to identify use cases and drive automation / process improvement initiatives within the Section
