**Position Overview**:The Pharmacist is a vital member of the healthcare team responsible for dispensing medications, providing medication information and education, and ensuring patient safety through accurate prescription filling and drug management. This role requires a strong understanding of pharmaceuticals, pharmacology, and regulatory standards.

**Key Responsibilities**:
**Medication Dispensing**:Receive and review prescriptions to ensure accuracy, appropriateness, and legality.
Prepare and dispense medications while adhering to dosage guidelines and proper packaging.
Counsel patients on medication usage, potential side effects, and proper storage.

**Medication Management**:Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of prescriptions, patient profiles, and medication inventory.
Collaborate with healthcare providers to verify prescriptions, clarify instructions, and resolve any discrepancies.

**Patient Education**:Provide clear and comprehensive information to patients about prescribed medications, including dosage instructions, potential interactions, and adverse effects.
Answer patient questions and address concerns related to medications.

**Drug Interactions and Safety**:Identify and prevent potential drug interactions by cross-referencing patient profiles and medications.
Monitor patient profiles for allergies, contraindications, and potential adverse reactions.

**Quality Assurance and Regulatory Compliance**:Follow established protocols and regulations to ensure accurate and safe medication dispensing.
Maintain compliance with state and federal pharmacy laws, including record-keeping and reporting requirements.

**Collaboration and Communication**:Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, such as physicians and nurses, to optimize patient care.
Communicate with prescribers to clarify orders, address concerns, and recommend alternatives if needed.

**Compounding and Specialized Medications**:Prepare compounded medications according to established guidelines, when necessary.
Ensure accuracy and quality in compounding processes.

**Inventory Management**:Monitor medication inventory levels, order supplies as needed, and manage medication shortages.
Rotate stock and dispose of expired or unusable medications in compliance with regulations.

**Continuing Education**:Stay updated on the latest pharmaceutical developments, guidelines, and regulations.
Participate in professional development activities to maintain licensure and enhance expertise.

**Qualifications and Skills**:

- Doctor of Pharmacy (Pharm.D.) degree from an accredited school of pharmacy.
- Valid state pharmacist licensure.
- Strong knowledge of pharmacology, drug interactions, and pharmaceutical regulations.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy and patient safety.
- Proficiency in using pharmacy management systems and technology.
- Strong ethical and professional standards.

Pay: Up to ₹20,000.00 per month

- Coimbatore, Tamil Nadu: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (required)

**Experience**:
