A CNC programmer creates and maintains programs for CNC machines, which cut and shape materials into desired forms. They also troubleshoot issues, maintain equipment, and ensure safety standards are met. Responsibilities
- **Create and maintain programs**Use programming languages and software to design programs that instruct the machine on how to cut and shape materials
- **Interpret blueprints**Understand project blueprints to design programs that efficiently produce components
- **Test and adjust**Perform tests and make adjustments to ensure the machine produces high-quality parts
- **Troubleshoot**Provide technical support and troubleshooting assistance to machine operators
- **Maintain equipment**Monitor the repair and maintenance of the equipment, and check for signs of wear and tear
- **Perform quality checks**Perform quality checks with the machine operator to ensure the program is producing parts according to specifications

Skills Attention to detail, Time management, Organization, and Strong knowledge of CAD software and 3D modeling techniques.
