Education Counselor

We are seeking an experienced and passionate Education Counselor to join our team. As an Education Counselor, you will play a pivotal role in guiding students through their educational journey, assisting them in making informed decisions about their academic and career goals. Your expertise in educational pathways, institutions, and student development will be invaluable in helping students achieve their aspirations.

**Responsibilities**:
**Student Guidance**:Provide personalized guidance to students regarding academic programs, career options, and educational pathways.
Assess students' interests, strengths, and goals to recommend suitable courses and programs.
Assist students in identifying and clarifying their long-term academic and professional objectives.

**Information Dissemination**:Disseminate accurate and up-to-date information about educational programs, institutions, scholarships, and financial aid options.
Conduct workshops, seminars, and presentations to educate students and parents about higher education opportunities.

**Career Counseling**:Provide guidance on potential career paths and job prospects based on the chosen academic pursuits.
Assist students in exploring the alignment between their academic choices and future employment opportunities.

**Student Support**:Address students' concerns, questions, and doubts regarding course selection, academic challenges, and career decisions.

**Data Management**:Maintain accurate records of student interactions, inquiries, and counseling sessions.
Compile data on students' preferences, trends in program choices, and outcomes to improve counseling strategies.

**Networking**:Establish and maintain relationships with educational institutions, both domestically and internationally, to stay informed about program changes and updates.

**Continuous Learning**:Stay abreast of trends and developments in the education sector, including changes in admission policies, emerging academic programs, and innovative career pathways.

**Qualifications**:

- Bachelor's degree in Education, Psychology, Counseling, or a related field. Master's degree preferred.
- Proven experience in education counseling, admissions, or related fields.
- Strong knowledge of different academic programs, institutions, and career opportunities.
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills.
- Empathetic and patient listener with a genuine interest in helping students succeed.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Proficiency in using educational and career counseling software and tools.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ethical and professional conduct in handling sensitive student information.

**Salary**: ₹15,000.00 - ₹22,000.00 per month
