Principal Architect for our DevOps team to lead the design, implementation, and continuous improvement of our DevOps practices. As a Principal Architect, you will play a critical role in shaping the technical direction of our organization, driving innovation, and ensuring the efficient delivery of high-quality software solutions. You will work closely with cross-functional teams, including engineering, operations, and security, to establish and maintain best practices for our DevOps processes.

**Responsibilities**:
**1. Technical Leadership**:

- Provide expert-level guidance and technical leadership to the DevOps team, ensuring alignment with the organization's strategic goals.
- Drive the evolution of DevOps practices, adopting modern tools, methodologies, and technologies to enhance automation, efficiency, and reliability.

**2. Architecture and Design**:

- Design scalable and resilient DevOps architectures that support continuous integration, continuous delivery, and continuous deployment pipelines.
- Collaborate with software architects and development teams to ensure seamless integration of DevOps practices into the software development lifecycle.

**3. Automation and Infrastructure**:

- Lead efforts to automate provisioning, configuration, and management of infrastructure and environments using tools such as Terraform, Ansible, Kubernetes, and others.
- Define and implement infrastructure-as-code (IaC) principles to enable consistent and repeatable deployments.

**4. Continuous Integration and Delivery**:

- Oversee the design and implementation of CI/CD pipelines, ensuring efficient and automated delivery of software to production and other environments.
- Champion the adoption of best practices for automated testing, code quality checks, and deployment strategies.

**5. Performance and Scalability**:

- Develop strategies to monitor and analyze system performance, identifying bottlenecks and areas for improvement.

**6. Security and Compliance**:

- Collaborate with the security team to integrate security best practices into the DevOps process, ensuring the integrity and confidentiality of systems and data.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations related to security and data privacy.

**Qualifications**:

- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience).
- **14**+ years of professional experience in DevOps, with a proven track record of designing and implementing DevOps practices in complex environments.
- In-depth knowledge of cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud, and experience with containerization and orchestration tools (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).
- Strong experience with infrastructure automation tools (e.g., Terraform, Ansible) and CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD).
- Proficiency in scripting and programming languages (e.g., Python, Bash, Ruby, Go).
- Excellent understanding of software development methodologies, version control systems (e.g., Git), and agile practices.
- Solid understanding of security best practices and familiarity with compliance standards (e.g., GDPR, HIPAA).
- Exceptional problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues.
