- champion automated testing across all parts of the technology stack and all stages of the software development life cycle and articulate the benefits to both technical and non-technical audiences.
- design and implement test automation frameworks across all parts of the technology stack.
- progress the teams ‘shift left’ practices
- mentor and coach manual test and software engineers to ensure your test automation vision becomes a reality, with demonstrable benefits to throughput and quality.
- combine the mindset of a tester with both the desire and ability to put those tests into code for full automation, while being happy to perform a degree of manual, particularly exploratory, testing.

**Your team**
- In our agile operating model, crews are aligned to larger products and services fulfilling client needs and encompass multiple autonomous pods.
- You’ll be working in the Managing Investments Technology team focusing on providing high quality technology solutions to support Portfolio Management and Trading across UBS Asset Management.
- You will be part of a pod working in agile ways of working to deliver a first-class scalable, digital and integrated Multi-Asset Portfolio Management and Trading platform, specifically working on designing and implementing test automation frameworks across all parts of the technology stack.

**Your expertise**
- experience with c#,.net core, and/or react, typescript and javascript.
- strong experience of functional, performance and exploratory testing, manual and automated testing, unit, integration and end-to-end functional testing, white-box and black-box functional testing etc
- experience implementing test automation frameworks, bdd framework, developing and maintaining regression and automation suites.
- experience using web testing frameworks e.g. selenium, cypress, playwright.
- experience collaborating closely with end users, business analysts and developers to ensure sufficient test coverage.
- experience owning test management and reporting processes to support continuous delivery.
- experience on automation of data interfaces and sound knowledge of asset classes.
- experience working with cloud infrastructure such as azure & ci/cd process using tools like azure devops, gitlab or teamcity
