Job Description: Logistic Operations Specialist

We are currently seeking a highly motivated and skilled Logistic Operations Specialist to join our dynamic team. As a Logistic Operations Specialist, you will play a crucial role in managing and optimizing our company's logistics operations to ensure the efficient movement of goods and materials.

**Responsibilities**:
1. Coordinate and oversee the entire logistics process, including planning, scheduling, and execution of shipments to ensure timely delivery and customer satisfaction.

2. Collaborate with internal teams, including procurement, production, and sales, to gather information and align logistics activities with business goals.

3. Utilize transportation management systems to track shipments, monitor inventory levels, and optimize routes for cost-effective and timely delivery.

4. Communicate with carriers, freight forwarders, and suppliers to negotiate pricing, resolve issues, and maintain strong relationships.

5. Monitor and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective measures to enhance operational efficiency.

6. Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations governing transportation and logistics operations.

7. Develop and maintain standard operating procedures (SOPs) for logistics activities, including warehousing, inventory management, and transportation.

8. Conduct regular audits and inspections to assess process compliance, identify potential risks, and implement appropriate risk mitigation strategies.

9. Identify opportunities for cost reduction and process optimization within the logistics network while maintaining high levels of quality and service.

10. Stay up-to-date with industry trends, technologies, and best practices to propose innovative solutions and drive continuous improvement.

Qualifications:
1. Supply chain management, or a related field.

2. Proven experience 1 years in logistics operations, preferably in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.

3. Strong knowledge of transportation modes, logistics procedures, and supply chain management principles.

4. Proficient in using transportation management systems (TMS), warehouse management systems (WMS), and other logistics software.

5. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to make sound decisions in a time-sensitive environment.

6. Exceptional organizational and multitasking abilities, with a keen attention to detail.

7. Effective communication and negotiation skills to interact with various stakeholders, including carriers, suppliers, and internal teams.

8. Familiarity with relevant regulations, such as DOT and HOS rules, and experience ensuring compliance.

9. Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and independently with mínimal supervision.

10. Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and handle unexpected challenges effectively.
