Natus Sensory India are a leading manufacturer of medical devices and software for a range of solutions, including eight sensory nervous systems. Our mission is to improve patient outcomes in target markets through innovative screening, diagnostic and treatment solutions. We manufacture and distribute a range of medical device products used in the diagnosis of human disorders of sensory system and neural pathways.

**Location**: Bangalore (onsite).

**About the role**:
You will participate in all development phases from product definition until final release. Depending on your experience, you will take ownership of parts of the software and documentation. You will provide innovative and effective solutions to the software system in general as well as to the specified features and ensure quality implementation of these. Your talent and potential are more important than your experience. As Scrum Master you will facilitate scrum activities, support project planning and coach the scrum team to become more effective.

You will be working in a project-oriented culture and in both small and larger project teams.

**Work areas**
- Coach and mentor, the scrum team on Agile principles and practices. Facilitate and guide the Scrum team through all Scrum ceremonies, including Sprint Planning, Daily Stand-up meetings, Sprint Reviews, and Sprint Retrospectives.
- Assist product owner, maintaining the Scrum Team Backlog (planning & prioritizing).
- Protect the Scrum Team from un-necessary interruptions to ensure smooth and high-quality deliveries.
- Resolve conflicts within the team
- Understand - at least high level - what the Product Owner is asking for
- Vet that requirements are well-phrased and accurate
- Ensure that estimates on work taken on are reasonable and achievable
- Ensure that the team works at a sustainable speed but is high performing and improving over time
- Track and communicate the overall progress of the deliverables to the stakeholders and collect the metrics (using Burndowns, JIRA dashboards etc.)
- The Scrum Master is not expected to do any SW development (coding) - but knowing how to, could be an advantage.
- Drive projects and deliver high quality on time and at cost
- Expanding your understanding of software security (e.g. secure coding) and patient data protection
- Expanding your experience in both Agile and waterfall SDLC
- Agile tools such as Jira.

**Experience and Skills**
- Experience working in highly regulated industries, such as **Medical Device** or **Pharma**, with a focus on delivering high-quality devices that meet strict regulatory standards.
- Lives and wants to work onsite in **Bangalore**.
- Certified Scrum Master - maybe **Scaled Agile (SAFe)** certification
- ** +8 years** of experience in a Scrum Master role.
- Experience in **Audiology**and/or **acoustics**is an advantage.
- Master’s degree (M.A.) from four-year college or university; or related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

- The role will start as a work-from-home remote position but will turn into a physical presence in an office role in Bangalore.
