**Role Overview**

**Job Duties**:
The Compensation Supervisor will be a part of People Operations, a global shared service of Bechtel HR. This role will be responsible for providing operational support to the compensation team through data analysis and execution of compensation programs in the countries/functions/projects assigned according to the organizational needs of the company and as advised by the Europe and AIME Total Rewards Manager.
Detailed responsibilities include (but are not limited to):
Supervising compensation team responsible for EAMS regions; providing guidance to the team members and developing them.
Identifying and participating in compensation benchmarking surveys, interacting with the partnering consulting organizations, providing recommendations for maintaining Bechtel’s competitive positioning
Partnering with the Talent Acquisition team/business partners/hiring managers to review / recommend salaries for offers as needed
Executing annual total compensation planning which includes (but is not limited to): system configurations and testing, providing day to day support to planning managers on the tools and guidelines, assisting planning managers with completing actions, partnering with HR business partners in finalizing plans
Researching, assembling and evaluating information or data regarding industry best practices or legislative changes pertaining to compensation programs
Ensuring internal equity, external competitiveness, and compliance with applicable laws, regulations and organizational policies
Evaluating processes and recommending solutions to build efficiencies in day-to-day work activities.
Analysing employee data & information and maintaining working files according to required confidentiality / privacy standards and best practices
**Basic Qualifications**:
MBA in Human Resources or related field with a minimum of 8 years of related HR experience with demonstrated increasing responsibility over time OR 12 years of overall related experience in lieu of degree.
Experienced in managing and leading a team
Experienced in working closely with international teams.
**Preferred Qualifications**:
Demonstrated knowledge of and prior experience working with HRIS systems, specifically SAP and SuccessFactors
Strong Microsoft Office skills (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Teams, Outlook, etc.)
Data analytics skills
Experienced in training and presenting to large groups
Possess service mindset and ability to build strong relationships
Ability to exercise initiative and make decisions with little or no supervision and be accountable for such actions
Ability to work in a high-volume transaction environment
Proactive, flexible, and adaptive to changing priorities
Strong understanding of continuous improvement and measurement processes
Effective communication, interpersonal and collaboration skills
