**Job Title**: Purchase Executive
**Location**: The Fern - Goregaon (Mumbai)
**Department**: Purchase / Procurement
**Reports To**: Purchase Manager / Financial Controller

**About The Fern**:
The Fern Goregaon is a 5-star environmentally sensitive hotel in Mumbai, offering a blend of luxurious hospitality and eco-conscious practices. We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented **Purchase Executive** to join our team and manage procurement activities in line with our quality and sustainability standards.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Handle day-to-day procurement of hotel supplies including F&B items, housekeeping materials, engineering spares, and other operational needs.
- Evaluate vendor quotations and negotiate contracts for best pricing, quality, and delivery terms.
- Ensure timely issuance of Purchase Orders (POs) and follow up for deliveries.
- Maintain updated and accurate records of purchases, pricing, and inventory.
- Collaborate with department heads to forecast demand and maintain appropriate stock levels.
- Conduct periodic vendor performance reviews and maintain strong supplier relationships.
- Ensure compliance with internal policies, hotel SOPs, and statutory regulations.
- Support monthly stock audits and assist in identifying cost-saving opportunities.
- Coordinate with Accounts for timely vendor payments and invoice reconciliation.

**Requirements**:

- Minimum 2-3 years of experience in a hotel or hospitality procurement role, preferably in a 4 or 5-star property.
- Strong knowledge of local vendors and hotel supply chains.
- Proficiency in MS Office and hotel ERP systems (IDS, Prologic, or similar).
- Strong negotiation, communication, and organizational skills.
- Attention to detail with an ability to work under pressure.
- Qualification: Graduate or Diploma in Hotel Management / Supply Chain preferred.
