A **Quality Control Analyst** in the **packaging industry** plays a crucial role in ensuring that packaging materials, processes, and finished products meet industry standards, company specifications, and regulatory requirements. Their responsibilities typically include:
**1. Quality Inspection & Testing**
- Inspect raw materials, in-process packaging, and finished products to ensure they meet specifications.
- Conduct physical, chemical, and visual tests on packaging materials (e.g., strength, durability, leakage).
- Check packaging integrity, seal quality, labeling accuracy, and print clarity.

**2. Compliance & Documentation**
- Ensure compliance with industry standards (ISO, GMP, FDA, etc.).
- Maintain detailed quality records, including inspection reports and test results.
- Prepare reports on defects, deviations, and corrective actions taken.

**3. Process Monitoring & Improvement**
- Monitor packaging processes to identify areas for improvement.
- Work with production teams to implement corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).
- Recommend process changes to improve efficiency and reduce defects.

**4. Handling Defects & Non-Conformance**
- Identify and document defective packaging materials.
- Work with suppliers and production teams to address non-conformities.
- Implement quality control plans to minimize defects and waste.

**5. Equipment & Safety Checks**
- Ensure proper calibration and maintenance of testing equipment.
- Follow and enforce safety guidelines related to packaging materials and processes.

**6. Training & Collaboration**
- Train production staff on quality standards and best practices.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including procurement, production, and logistics.

**Key Skills & Knowledge Areas**
- Understanding of **packaging materials** (plastics, paper, glass, metal, etc.).
- Knowledge of **quality standards** (ISO 9001, GMP, HACCP).
- Proficiency in **quality testing tools** and techniques.
- Strong **analytical and problem-solving** skills.
- Attention to detail and ability to work under pressure.

Pay: Up to ₹30,000.00 per month
