**Job Description**:
We are currently seeking a skilled and passionate UI/UX Artist to join our team. As a UI/UX Artist, you will play a crucial role in delivering exceptional User Interfaces for our clients. If you have an eye for detail, a strong sense of design, and a passion for creating intuitive user experiences, this position is perfect for you.

Working closely with the Lead, Art Director, Creative Director, game designers, programmers, production teams, and other team members, you will contribute to the development of world-class UI designs and help drive improvements in our services and quality.

**What you'll be doing**:

- Create professional UI experiences, focusing on UX design, visual layout, and concept development.
- Organize and review play-tests of user interface prototypes and final in-game UI.
- Design and create visually appealing user interfaces for AAA games, including menus, HUD elements, icons, buttons, and other interactive elements.
- You will be responsible for implementation requirements and ensuring assets are of shippable AAA quality.
- Ensure the highest quality implementation is followed within AAA Games standards.
- Iterate on playable game flows to provide stakeholders with a tangible feel for the UI before implementation.
- Develop basic motion graphic mock-ups to illustrate complex interactions.
- Implement UI assets and motion design into the game engine, ensuring optimal functionality and performance across different platforms and devices.
- Stay updated on industry trends and propose innovative practices to keep our work on the cutting edge.

**Qualifications**:
**What we're looking for**:

- 3 to 5 years of experience as a UI/UX Designer or in a related role, creating interfaces for video games.
- A diverse portfolio showcasing your understanding of graphic design, layout, motion graphics, iconography, and typography for games.
- Ability to design user interfaces with a focus on player comfort, empathy, UX thinking, and accessibility.
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, After Effects) and knowledge of Figma.
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Clear and concise communication style, with the ability to explain the thought process behind visual design solutions and rally others around design goals.
- Open-minded, friendly, and positive attitude.
- A strong passion for gaming.
- Experience with game engines like Unreal Engine UMG or Unity is a plus.
- Familiarity with materials and shaders for UI is a plus.
- Deep understanding of UI art team roles, workflows, and integration within the wider development team.
- Strong knowledge of art theory and expert knowledge of UI theory, terminology, and best practices.
- Proficient in UI and graphic design tools, with general knowledge of typical art tools and game engines.
- Ability to create documentation, style guides, and ideation.
- Expert in motion graphics principles and tools to create captivating animations, transitions, and visual effects for interactive UI elements.
- Experience advising team members on UI production matters and working with production tools like Shotgun, Jira, etc.
- Excellent attention to detail, with the ability to analyze and comprehend visual direction.
- Strong verbal communication skills, with the willingness to accept constructive critique.

**What would help**:

- Previous experience in a similar role is highly desirable.
- Experience working on multiple projects concurrently.
- Portfolio showcasing high-fidelity UI designs created using industry-standard tools such as Adobe XD, Illustrator, Sketch, Figma, etc.
