**Description**
- Interpret medical imaging studies, including X-rays, computed tomography (CT), magnetic resonance imaging (MRI), ultrasound, and nuclear medicine scans, to diagnose a wide range of medical conditions.
- Identify and analyze abnormalities, lesions, fractures, and other pathological findings on imaging studies and provide accurate diagnostic impressions.
- Collaborate with referring physicians, surgeons, oncologists, and other healthcare providers to correlate imaging findings with clinical history, laboratory results, and patient symptoms.
- Provide diagnostic consultations, recommendations for further imaging studies or interventions, and contribute to multidisciplinary discussions for patient management.
- Perform and interpret image-guided procedures, such as ultrasound-guided biopsies, fluoroscopy-guided injections, and CT-guided interventions, as needed.
- Ensure the safety, accuracy, and effectiveness of image-guided procedures and provide timely interpretation of procedural imaging.
- Participate in quality assurance activities, including image review, peer review, and adherence to departmental protocols and standards.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, radiation safety guidelines, and quality control measures for medical imaging equipment and procedures.
- Utilize radiology information systems (RIS), picture archiving and communication systems (PACS), and other radiology software for image viewing, interpretation, reporting, and data management.
- Stay updated on advancements in radiology technology, imaging techniques, and software tools to enhance diagnostic accuracy and workflow efficiency.
