**Job Description**:

- Implement and manage various IT related initiatives taken up at AIL in the areas of IT Security, IT Networking, IT infrastructure and devices, Video Conferencing etc. at AIL Offices and Plant locations, in line with the IT roadmap.
- Network Fundamentals: Understand hardware from multiple vendors. Should be able to understand / Explain scenarios & have working knowledge and be able to trouble shoot all network Protocols. Install configure & troubleshoot of Switch/Router/Other network devices.
- WAN Topologies: Explain scenarios & have working knowledge and be able to troubleshoot the functions and operations of Routing protocols and configurations.
- Routing / Switching: Configure & Verify router/switch hardware and software operation using all commands. Strong knowledge on all protocols.
- Network Security: Configure & Verify Firewalls, VPN, IDS, IPS, UTM devices hardware and software operation using all commands. Strong knowledge on all functionalities of Plugs / policies / Public-Private security authentications.
- Tools: Good Knowledge of Monitoring Tools, Parameters being monitored and alerting mechanism.Identify and implement various monitoring tools related to IT infrastructure, Log monitoring, IT Network and End user computing.
- Troubleshooting: Analyze and resolve technical queries of users and vendors - High Sev Incidents, Major Changes, Change Scripting, Problem Management Tickets, RCA preparation, Understand product technology and prepare technical documentation, SOPs, Transitions of new tech, Deployment of network, Attend conference calls with technical escalation points onsite./Customer/RCA reviews/High critical incidents conference calls.
- Knowledge Management: Assist team members in providing information and knowledge sharing, Train/Mentor the new hires in the team.
- Plant visits (on need basis) for project tracking, IT Network management and stakeholder management at regular intervals
- Management of firewalls with Web Filtering, setting of rules, NAT etc.
- Optimize utilization of network bandwidth and highlight if any upgrades are required in the bandwidth or suggest alternate technologies.
- Manage and maintain change management as per IT Guidelines
- Define and manage contracts for Network, Bandwidth and other networking related components in infrastructure/environment
- Periodic review with vendors and ensure adherance of SLAs
- New technology evaluation and implementation
- Proactively Plan and upgrade infrastructure as per business need
- Experience/knowledge working on SSO, DLP, IT/OT Integration, CCTV integration, IoT, Analytics etc will be and added advantage
- Excellent communication and time management skills
- Analytical thinker and problem solver
