**Role Description**
**Key Responsibilities**:
- Develop and deliver engaging, high-quality curriculum for pastry and baking courses.
- Teach both theoretical and practical aspects of pastry arts, including cake decoration, bread making, sugar work, chocolate work, and advanced pastry techniques.
- Demonstrate industry-relevant techniques, tools, and equipment in the classroom and practical sessions.
- Assess students' progress and provide constructive feedback to support their learning journey.
- Stay updated on the latest trends, techniques, and innovations in the pastry world to ensure course content is current and relevant.
- Mentor and guide students, preparing them for careers in the pastry and culinary fields.
- Create a positive, interactive, and professional learning environment that fosters student engagement and growth.
- Collaborate with the faculty team to continuously improve course materials and teaching methods.
- Participate in the development of workshops, seminars, and other extracurricular activities related to pastry and culinary arts.
**Qualifications & Skills**:
- Proven experience as a Pastry Chef, with a strong portfolio of work in professional kitchens or pastry establishments.
- A formal culinary qualification or degree in Pastry Arts or a related field.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience working in a pastry kitchen or teaching pastry arts.
- Previous experience in teaching or training students is highly desirable.
- Exceptional communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
- Strong organizational and time-management abilities.
- Passion for culinary arts and a desire to share knowledge and skills with students.
- A commitment to high standards and a focus on excellence in pastry and baking.
