Mathematics Teacher

**Location**:Near Vidhan Sabha, Raipur

**Position Summary**:
**Key Responsibilities**:
**Instruction and Curriculum**:

- Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging and effective mathematics lessons to students across various grade levels of primary and middle school (mainly Class 3- Class 8)
- Develop and implement a curriculum that aligns with national/state standards (CBSE, CGBSE State Board).
- Utilize a variety of instructional techniques and resources to cater to diverse learning styles and abilities.
- Assess and evaluate student progress regularly, providing constructive feedback and implementing interventions as needed.
- Prepare students for internal and external examinations, including board examinations and competitive tests.

**Classroom Management**:

- Maintain a positive, inclusive, and disciplined classroom environment conducive to learning.
- Establish clear expectations for student behavior and academic performance.
- Manage classroom resources effectively.

**Student Support and Development**:

- Monitor student academic progress and well-being, providing individual support and guidance when necessary.
- Collaborate with colleagues, parents, and support staff to address student needs and promote their overall development.
- Encourage critical thinking, problem-solving skills, and a growth mindset in students.

**Professional Development and Collaboration**:

- Actively participate in departmental meetings, school-wide initiatives, and professional development programs.
- Collaborate with fellow teachers to develop interdisciplinary projects and enhance the overall educational experience.
- Stay updated with the latest educational trends, teaching methodologies, and mathematical advancements.
- Contribute to the positive culture and community of the school.

**Parent Communication**:

- Communicate effectively with parents regarding student progress, academic performance, and any concerns.
- Attend parent-teacher conferences and school events as required.

**Qualifications**:
**Education**:

- Bachelor's degree in Mathematics, Education, or a closely related field.
- Master's degree in Mathematics or Education (preferred).
- Bachelor of Education (B.Ed.) or equivalent teaching qualification.

**Experience**:

- Freshers or Minimum of 1 year of demonstrable experience teaching Mathematics at the school level.
- Experience with CGBSE OR CBSE board syllabus is highly desirable.
- Proven track record of improving student performance and engagement.
