Cane Inspector role is crucial in maintaining the quality of raw material, ensuring that the cane meets industry standards, and ensuring smooth operations in sugar production. Cane Inspectors work closely with farmers, field workers, and the processing team.
**Key Responsibilities**:
1. **Inspection of Cane Quality**:
- Inspect sugarcane delivered to mills for ripeness, size, and quality.
- Assess sugarcane for damage, pests, disease, and other defects.
- Measure the sugar content of cane to ensure it meets the required standards for processing.
2. **Field Inspections**:
- Conduct inspections at various stages of harvesting to ensure the cane is cut, stored, and transported correctly.
- Work with farm workers to ensure best practices in harvesting and handling.
3. **Data Recording**:
- Record and maintain detailed inspection reports on the quality of cane, including factors such as moisture content, length, weight, and overall health.
- Track trends in cane quality to identify areas for improvement in cultivation or harvesting practices.
4. **Quality Control**:
- Ensure compliance with industry quality standards and regulatory requirements.
- Provide recommendations to farm managers and processing teams for improving cane quality or farming practices.
5. **Collaboration**:
- Collaborate with farmers, field workers, and other stakeholders to ensure proper procedures for cane production and harvesting are followed.
- Provide technical advice and support on issues relating to cane health and quality.
Pay: ₹18,000.00 - ₹36,000.00 per month
