**Job description**
- Performing regular examinations on patients to diagnose various gynecological conditions.
- Recording and updating patients' medical histories.
- Advising patients on suitable birth control options.
- Performing various diagnostic tests on patients, which include Pap smears, STD tests, ultrasounds, hormone profile blood tests, colposcopies, and endometrial biopsies.
- Explaining test results, diagnoses, and treatment options to patients.
- Performing surgeries and gynecological procedures on patients, such as cervical cryosurgeries, dilation and curettages, pelvic laparoscopies, and sterilizations.
- Referring patients to other healthcare specialists as needed.
- Working with expecting mothers to explain the childbirth process
- Performing routine checkups with patients
- Providing childbirth and postpartum care for new mothers
- Perform the initial assessment of the patient and actively participate in all aspects of patient care, including history and physical, diagnostic and therapeutic planning, procedures, writing orders, and interactions with family.
- In-depth discussion of all cases with the attending prior to initiation of all but the most basic diagnostic studies or therapeutic interventions
- No supervision or direction of decisions of other residents or medical students, but ensure active student involvement in the care of the patients the student is following.
- All procedures must be done under direct approval and supervision of attending.
- Emphasis is on quality of patient evaluation and care.
- Will have experience with basic surgical instruments.
- Allowed to suture the subcutaneous tissue after demonstrating adequate technical ability. All surgical procedures to the deep subcutaneous tissue require supervision by senior residents or attending staff.
- May start IVs, and draw arterial and venous blood gases independently. Placement of central lines, arterial catheters, and chest tubes are to be done under direct supervision until expertise has been demonstrated.

- Analyze records, reports, test results, or examination information to diagnose medical condition of patient.
- Explain procedures and discuss test results or prescribed treatments with patients.
- Collect, record, and maintain patient information, such as medical histories, reports, and examination results.
- Monitor patients over the course of pregnancies.
- Treat infections of the cervix, ovaries and fallopian tubes.
- Identify cancerous growths within the reproductive system.
- Refer patient to medical specialist or other practitioner when necessary.
- Doctor must be MBBS
- Doctor must have DMC registration
- Job Location East Delhi
- Minimum 1 year of Gyne department experience
- 12 hour shift (Both night & Day shift)
