A PRT (Primary Teacher) teacher has to do
- **Lesson Planning**:Develop and implement comprehensive lesson plans aligned with the primary math curriculum, incorporating a variety of teaching methods (hands-on activities, games, visual aids) to cater to diverse learning styles.
- **Instruction Delivery**:Teach foundational math concepts clearly and effectively, explaining complex ideas in simple terms, providing regular practice exercises, and addressing student questions.
- **Assessment and Feedback**:Regularly assess student understanding through quizzes, tests, observation, and classwork, providing timely and constructive feedback to guide improvement.
- **Individualized Support**:Identify students who require additional support and provide tailored interventions or differentiated instruction to address learning gaps.
- **Classroom Management**:Maintain a positive and focused learning environment, promoting active participation and collaboration among students.
- **Communication with Parents**:Regularly communicate student progress to parents through report cards, parent-teacher conferences, and other methods.
- **Curriculum Alignment**:Stay updated on the latest primary math curriculum standards and incorporate them into lesson plans.
- **Collaboration**:Work effectively with other teachers, administrators, and support staff to ensure student success.
