As a Neonatologist, you will be responsible for providing specialized care to newborn infants, particularly those who are premature, critically ill, or require intensive medical attention.
- Diagnose and treat a wide range of pediatric conditions, including infections, injuries, chronic illnesses, and developmental disorders.
- Conduct routine check-ups to monitor growth, development, and overall health of patients.
- Administer vaccinations and provide guidance on nutrition, hygiene, and safety to parents and caregivers.
- Collaborate with parents, teachers, and other healthcare professionals to address educational, mental health, and social issues that may impact a child's well-being.
- Order and interpret diagnostic tests, prescribe medications, and recommend therapies or interventions as necessary.
