Job Description: Store In-charge

**Overview**:
**Responsibilities**:

- **Inventory Management**:

- Oversee the entire inventory management process, including receiving, storing, and issuing materials.
- Maintain accurate inventory records and conduct regular stock counts to ensure accurate inventory levels.
- Implement effective inventory control systems to minimize stockouts and overstocks.
- Monitor inventory turnover rates and identify slow-moving or obsolete items.
- **Warehouse Operations**:

- Manage warehouse layout and organization to optimize space utilization and accessibility.
- Supervise the efficient receipt, storage, and dispatch of materials.
- Implement and enforce warehouse safety standards and procedures.
- Coordinate with logistics and transportation teams to ensure timely delivery of materials.
- **Team Management**:

- Lead and manage a team of warehouse staff, including assigning tasks, monitoring performance, and providing training.
- Foster a positive and productive work environment.
- **Quality Control**:

- Inspect incoming materials for quality and quantity.
- Implement quality control measures to prevent damage, theft, and loss.
- Monitor product expiration dates and ensure timely rotation of stock.
- **Cost Control**:

- Identify opportunities to reduce operational costs, such as optimizing storage space and minimizing material handling.
- Implement cost-effective inventory management strategies.

**Qualifications**:

- Minimum 6-7 years of experience in inventory management, warehouse management, or storekeeping.
- Experience in managing a warehouse of 10,000 square feet or more.
- Knowledge of inventory management software and systems.
