We are currently seeking a Configuration Advisor to join our team in Bangalore, Karnātaka (IN-KA), India (IN).

**What we look for (Grade-10)**

**Technical Advisor - Vulnerability Mgmt and remediation (Tanium)**
- A minimum bachelor’s degree in computer engineering, computer security, or computer science discipline, unique equivalent professional experience
- Minimum of 8+ years of progressive experience in information technology with 5+ years of vulnerability scanning/management experience.
- Demonstrated ability to prepare documentation and presentations for technical and non-technical audiences.
- Knowledge of methods for on-going evaluation of the effectiveness and applicability of information security controls (e.g., vulnerability testing, and assessment tools).
- Ability to understand information security risks associated with vulnerability testing, patch management, and secure configuration management.
- Ability to analyse and prioritize vulnerabilities to appropriately characterize threats and provide remediation advice. Familiarity with classes of vulnerabilities, appropriate remediation, and industry-standard classification schemes (CVE, CWE, CVSS, CPE).
- Knowledge of common attack methodologies; common types of security vulnerabilities.
- Experience with software internals such as Windows, Linux and mobile platforms
- Familiarity with and ability to leverage various internal network, IT, and security platforms such as masscan, nmap, SCCM, GPO, Tanium, Qualys, Rapid7, Windows event logs, Splunk, etc.
- Experience performing security/vulnerability reviews of network environments.
- Influence behaviour to reduce risk and foster a strong technology risk management culture throughout the enterprise.
- Strong verbal/written communication and interpersonal skills are required to document and communicate findings, escalate critical incidents, to technical and non-technical audiences at different seniority levels and interact with customers.
- Highly motivated individual with the ability to self-start, prioritize, multi-task and work in a global team setting.
- Ability to create and maintain good business relationships with counter parts, customers, and external entities to achieve the security operations management goals
