**JOB DESCRIPTION**:

- Produce well-researched technical drug related content for publication online
- Must be able to create original written technical drug related content from original scientific literature and other primary information sources.
- Edit content produced by other members of the team
- Analyze content usage metrics and makes changes as needed
- Collaborate with other technical writers
- Preparing well-structured drafts using approved content management system
- Ensure all-around consistency (style, fonts, images and tone)

**PREFERRED SKILLS**:

- Working knowledge of commonly used content management systems
- Strong grasp of the English language
- Understanding of shorthand used for describing dosing of drugs used by healthcare professionals
- Ability to work independently with little or no daily supervision
- Strong interpersonal skills and willingness to communicate with clients, colleagues, and management
- Strict adherence to the style guides of the company and its policies for publication, including the company's brand image, products, and services.
- Good time management skills, including prioritizing, scheduling, and adapting as necessary

**MUST HAVE SKILLS**:

- Proven technical content writing or copywriting experience
- Excellent writing and editing skills as evidenced by a portfolio of published articles
- The ability to consistently meet tight deadlines
- Proficiency with computers, especially writing programs, such as Google Docs and Microsoft Office (including Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint)
- The ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- The ability to handle multiple written project assignments concurrently.

**QUALIFICATION**:

- Bachelors or Master’s degree in Pharmacy, or related field
- Knowledge of pharmaceutical sciences and drug prescribing and usage practices
- At least one year of experience writing preferred

**SUMMARY OF ROLE**:
We are looking to hire a dedicated technical content writer to create content for a proprietary online drug monograph collection and associated drug interaction dataset. The content writer's responsibilities will include researching primary sources of drug information, composing and assembling drug monographs, and defining drug interactions. He/ She should also be able to follow editorial and technical guidelines when creating content. To be successful as a technical content writer, He/ She should keep abreast of the latest developments in drug research and changes in approved and common off-label usage.. Ultimately, a top-performing technical content writer should be able to contribute to the development of strategies that will increase value for the reader and their engagement.
