**Location : Guru Rajendra Jain International School, Mohankheda Jain Tirth, Rajgarh (Dhar).**

**Responsibilities**:
**1. Library Management**:

- Oversee the day-to-day operations of the school library.
- Maintain a well-organized and welcoming library space conducive to studying and research.
- Implement and update library policies and procedures.

**2. Student-Centric Approach**:

- Develop and implement initiatives that actively engage students in the library, making it a hub for intellectual exploration and collaboration.
- Actively seek student feedback to tailor library resources and activities to their evolving needs and interests.

**3. Holistic Learning Support**:

- Provide personalized support for students, assisting them with research projects, information literacy skills, and cultivating a passion for independent learning.
- Collaborate with teachers to integrate library resources seamlessly into the curriculum, enhancing the overall learning experience..
- Provide training for teachers on utilizing library resources effectively in their teaching.

**4. Collection Development**:

- Curate a diverse and up-to-date collection of books, e-books, multimedia, and other resources.
- Regularly assess the library's collection and make informed decisions for additions and removals.

**5. Promotion of Reading**:

- Organize engaging reading programs, book clubs, and literary events to instill a love for reading.
- Create visually appealing displays and promotions to showcase new arrivals and thematic collections.

**6. Mentorship and Guidance**:

- Provide mentorship and guidance to students interested in pursuing research, literary pursuits, or other library-related activities.
- Create a mentorship program to connect students with a love for literature and knowledge-sharing.

**Qualifications**:

- Master's degree in Library Science or Information Science (ALA-accredited preferred).
- Previous experience in an educational setting, preferably in a boarding school.

**Skills**:

- Strong verbal and written communication skills for promoting library programs, events, and services.
- Skill in selecting, acquiring, and maintaining a diverse and relevant collection of materials.
- Ability to navigate and leverage digital resources, e-books, online databases, and other electronic materials.
- A passion for promoting a culture of reading and learning.
