We’re looking for a talented and creative **Video Editor** with a strong background in **animation** to join our team As a key member of our content creation process, you will be responsible for editing and animating high-quality YouTube videos that engage, educate, and entertain our growing audience.

**Responsibilities**:

- **Edit and enhance video content**: Collaborate with the content team to transform raw footage into polished, professional YouTube videos.
- **Create animated elements**: Develop eye-catching animations, motion graphics, and visual effects to enhance storytelling and audience engagement.
- **Storytelling through video**: Maintain a strong narrative structure, ensuring smooth transitions, pacing, and overall visual appeal.
- **Work with existing templates**: Adapt and improve on pre-established video formats for consistency across our content.
- **Color correction and audio editing**: Ensure the final videos meet the quality standards for color, sound, and visual composition.
- **Collaborate with the team**: Communicate effectively with content creators, directors, and other team members to ensure videos align with brand goals.
- **Meet deadlines**: Manage multiple video projects and prioritize tasks to meet deadlines consistently.

**Required Skills & Qualifications**:

- **Proven experience** in video editing for YouTube or similar platforms.
- **Strong proficiency** in video editing software (Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, etc.).
- **Animation skills**: Experience with animation software (After Effects, Blender, or similar) to create custom animations and motion graphics.
- **Creative vision**: Ability to think outside the box and bring fresh ideas to video content.
- **Attention to detail**: Strong ability to edit and animate videos that maintain high-quality production standards.
- **Good understanding of YouTube trends and audience preferences**.
- **Excellent communication skills** and ability to collaborate effectively with a creative team.
- **Portfolio** or **examples of previous video editing and animation work** is required.

**Preferred Skills**:

- Experience in creating **YouTube intros, outros, and animated thumbnails**.
- Familiarity with **SEO optimization** for YouTube video content.
- Experience with **video scripting or storyboarding**.
