**TOY DESIGNER**

As a toy designer, your primary responsibility will be to create innovative and engaging toys, games and activities that appeal to children ages 2-7. You will be involved in the entire design process, from conceptualisation to product creation. Your role will require a combination of creativity, technical skills, and keen understanding of child development.

**Responsibilities**:
**Ideation and Concept Development**: Generate original ideas for new toys, games and activities based on market trends, user research, and consumer insights. Develop concept sketches, mood boards, and written descriptions to communicate and present your ideas effectively.

**Design and Prototyping**: Create detailed sketches, digital renderings, and 3D models to visualize the concept. Develop prototypes using various materials, considering factors such as functionality, safety, and production feasibility. Iterate designs based on user testing and feedback.

**Product Launch and Support**:Assist in the product launch process, including packaging design, marketing materials, and product demonstrations. Provide support and guidance to the marketing team during product promotion and sales activities.

**Collaboration and Communication**:Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineers, marketers, and manufacturers, to ensure effective communication and coordination throughout the design and production process. Provide clear design specifications and documentation to facilitate the manufacturing and production stages.

**Compliance and Safety**: Stay up-to-date with safety regulations and industry standards, ensuring that products meet all necessary compliance requirements, including toy safety standards and testing protocols.

**Trend Analysis and Market Research**: Monitor market trends, consumer preferences, and competitor offerings to identify opportunities and inform the development of new toy and game concepts.

**Continuous Learning**: Stay updated with advancements in technology, manufacturing techniques, and design trends within the toy and game industry.

**Requirements**:
**Education and Experience**:Bachelor's degree in Industrial Design, Product Design, Game Design, or a related field. Previous experience in toy and game design, preferably with a portfolio demonstrating your creative and technical skills.

**Design Skills**:Proficiency in sketching, digital rendering, and 3D modeling software. Ability to create appealing and functional designs while considering manufacturing constraints.

**Creativity and Innovation**:Strong creative thinking abilities, with the ability to generate unique and engaging ideas. Keen eye for aesthetics, colour, and form.

**Play and Child Development**: Understanding of play patterns, child development principles, and educational value in toys and games. Ability to design experiences that are age-appropriate and meet the needs of a young target audience.

**Collaboration and Communication**:Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams and external stakeholders. Ability to articulate design concepts and provide clear instructions.

**Attention to Detail**:Meticulous attention to detail to ensure accurate and precise design specifications. Strong knowledge of safety standards and regulations related to toy and game design.

**Adaptability and Time Management**:Ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously, meet deadlines, and adapt to changing priorities in a fast-paced environment.

**Salary**: ₹50,000.00 - ₹100,000.00 per month
