Job summary

Amazon's Ops Tech IT Services group is looking for best-in-class client-side support personnel to support the expansion of the Amazon RAD under Ops Tech IT You will provide quality technical support to internal customers through one or all available channels (phone, chat, in-person), meeting or exceeding their expectations at every opportunity.

The successful IT Support Technician will be customer focused and motivated by team success. You will be innovative, energetic, and able to adapt to new processes and procedures quickly while dealing with a high volume of requests. You will also be committed, flexible, and have demonstrated ability to maintain high levels of productivity with mínimal supervision.

Key job responsibilities
- Provide support for desktops, laptops, printers, peripherals and other computer related devices
- Ensure proper documentation, notification, escalation, tracking, and follow up of all the incidents
- Troubleshoot and resolve system hardware and software issues/problems
- Participate in monitoring and maintenance of system key process improvements
- Ensure Day to day repair of IT assets (as applicable)
- Resolve customer escalation as per defined SLAs
- Ensure 5S and best hygiene practices on the shop floor
- Create and update MIS reports
- Excellent Data analytic skills
- Proficient with Excel

Bachelor’s degree in Computer science or IT related field.

- Minimum 2 year assets management experience..
- Strong troubleshooting skills of very complex systems
- Ability to explain complex IT concepts in simple terms
- Ability to manage high priority projects
- Inventory management skills.
- Exellent data analytical skills.
- Experience troubleshooting thin clients, PCs, scanners, and portable handheld terminals / Barcode scanners. Experience troubleshooting and maintaining laser printers and zebra printers.
- Proven ability to work successfully with limited supervision
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Comfortable communicating in person and via phone/radio with peers, management, contractors and vendors.
- Ability to travel up to 25%
