**Job description**

knowledge in work flow and process management of eye OT. Exposure in community ophthalmology camps. highly versed in ophthalmology chairside assistance, provision of diagnostic testing and performance of patient administrative tasks
- Maintaining the sterilization of Operation Theatre.
- Sterilization of the instruments.
- Assisting Doctors for surgery and various procedures performed in Operation Theatre.
- (Cataract, Retina, DCR, DCT, Glaucoma and other miscellaneous surgical procedure)
- Pre and Post -Operative Care of Patients.
- Giving retrobulbar block (anaesthetic procedure)
- Maintaining the stock of IOL, OT Consumables, etc.,
- Checking the expiry of drugs used in Operation Theatre periodically.
- Sending short expiry IOL and Medicines to Main Stores.
- Maintaining the Operation Theatre Registers. (IOL Register, OT Consumables, Material Inward Register, Surgery Register, Sterilization Register, etc.,)
- Maintaining Sterilization Report.
- Maintaining OT Culture Report
- Managing workflow
- Training new hires
- Creating and managing team schedules
- Reporting to senior management....
- Evaluating performance and providing feedback....

**Management of Patient Care**
- Facilitates and monitors activities related to patient care.
- Ensures continuity of care based upon knowledge of patient needs.
- Administers pre/post/recovery room care to patients/staff, as needed, to maintain clinical skills, to assess particular patients’ requirements or as support to patient care unit staff.
- Assumes the role of patient advocates respecting guideline found in the patient’s rights.
- Serves as a clinical resource person and assists OT personnel in assessing patient.
- Provides mechanisms to assure patient and significant others participation in care planning.

Areas of Expertise as an OT technician
- Assist Phaco -cataract surgeries, Retina Surgeries, other Ophthalmic Surgeries.
- Sterilization and maintenance of OT and standards.
- Taking Care of Pre operative & Post operative patient.
- Knowledge of medical terminology, particularly related to ophthalmology
- Participates in departmental and/or interdepartmental quality improvement activities
- Great interpersonal skills
- Keen interest to learn the new methods, and developments in eye surgery.

Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month

Schedule:

- Day shift

Supplemental Pay:

- Yearly bonus
