**Key Responsibilities**:
- Perform Ultrasonic Thickness Measurements (UTM) on ship structures, including hulls, decks, and tanks.
- Operate and calibrate ultrasonic testing equipment as per industry standards.
- Record, analyze, and report thickness measurements accurately.
- Ensure compliance with classification society and regulatory requirements.
- Assist in preparing inspection reports and documentation.
- Coordinate with ship crew, surveyors, and inspectors during assessments.
- Follow safety protocols and work in confined spaces, at heights, or in challenging environments.
- Maintain and handle testing equipment properly.
- Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
- Minimum [2] years in UTM inspection, preferably in the marine industry.
- Certification: Level 2 NDT certification in UTM
- Proficiency in ultrasonic testing techniques.
- Understanding of ship structures and marine inspection standards.
- Ability to prepare clear and accurate reports.
- English communication skills (spoken & written).
- Valid passport (for international assignments if required).
- Willingness to travel and work onboard ships.
