Roles & Responsibilities

In the role of Supervisor, pattern mfg. (Wax), the individual holds a pivotal position, overseeing the entirety of activities pertaining to the creation and assembly of wax and Replicast patterns. Adherence to Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) is paramount in executing tasks such as pattern scheduling on the Wax press, intricate pattern assembly, and the caging process. A key aspect of this role involves the diligent documentation of records associated with the entire process, ensuring compliance with the rigorous standards outlined by AS9100. The Engineer-Pattern Assembly is committed to maintaining thorough and accurate documentation, contributing to the company's dedication to quality and regulatory compliance.

Key Responsibilities:

- Ensuring safe work environment within the working area along with safety officer, Quality and Operation Head.'¯
- Ensuring proper material handling and prevent the FOD/Counterfeit parts in their concerned area.
- Leading the Team of Wax Press & Wax Pattern Assembly as per the Schedule.'¯
- Co-ordinating with Planning & Customer Support for the preparation and requirement of schedule for the new Development and monthly plan.
- Co-ordinating production requirements with support from CAD Team, and production planning department.'¯
- Ensuring readiness of pattern for tree assembly and coating as per the Shelling requirement.'¯
- Co-ordinating with QC Dept. for the Inspection of pattern.'¯
- Planning appropriate levels and qualities of raw materials needed to produce Wax Pattern, testing, tree assembly.
- Managing and controlling the proper up keeping of wax Dies and Patterns.'¯
- Ensuring operator level preventative maintenance is conducted on all equipment to ensure fault free operation.'¯
- Handle and facilitate process and product-based NCRs for issues arising in Ti Cast manufacturing system.'¯
- Preparing and providing the MIS reports,'¯maintain accurate and comprehensive records of production activities, ensuring traceability and compliance adhering to Planned Vs Actual status daily.
- Maintain 5S,Implement Lean practices, ensure Kaizens for continuous improvement and be a part of Six sigma initiatives while adhering to all safety, risk, and environmental guidelines.

Education and Certifications:

- B.E. in Production/Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing, Industrial or a related field.

**Experience**:

- 2-3 years of proven experience in precast operations, pattern manufacturing and assembly or manufacturing operations, preferably in the aerospace casting industry.

Technical / Functional Expertise & other competencies:

- B.E. in Mechanical Engineering or related field
- Proven experience in a supervisory role within a manufacturing environment, preferably in aerospace casting.
- In-depth understanding of aerospace casting processes and industry specifications.
- Proficiency in reading and interpreting complex engineering drawings and specifications, handling pattern making and assembly operation.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail.
- Familiarity with quality control processes and standards in aerospace manufacturing.
- Solid understanding of safety protocols and regulations associated with manufacturing environments.
- Effective communication skills to coordinate with cross-functional teams and convey technical information clearly.
