Café Nutrition is currently seeking a highly skilled Clinical Dietitian to join our team and work in a school setting. This is a unique opportunity to make a significant impact on the health and well-being of students, while promoting healthy eating habits and fostering a positive relationship with food.

Qualifications:

- Master’s degree in Nutrition & Dietetics.
- Minimum 5 years of experience
- Strong knowledge of nutrition science, food composition, and dietary guidelines.
- Familiarity with child development, growth patterns, and nutritional requirements.
- Proven experience in menu creation, recipe analysis, and adapting menus for specific dietary needs or restrictions.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to effectively educate and engage with students, parents, and cafeteria staff.
- Passion for promoting healthy eating habits and the ability to create a positive food environment.

Job Responsibilities:
Menu Creation and Planning:

- Develop nutritious and appealing menus that comply with national dietary guidelines, while considering students' preferences and allergies.
- Collaborate with school administrators and cafeteria staff to ensure the implementation of menus that meet quality and hygiene standards.
- Conduct regular menu evaluations and make adjustments as needed based on feedback, nutritional analysis, and current research.

Training and Collaboration:

- Train and work closely with cafeteria staff to promote food safety, proper food handling techniques, and maintain quality standards.
- Provide guidance and support to cafeteria staff in implementing menu plans, portion control, and recipe modifications.
- Foster a collaborative environment by facilitating regular meetings with cafeteria staff to address concerns, provide updates, and gather feedback.

Nutrition Consultations:

- Conduct individual nutrition consultations with students and parents to assess dietary habits, identify nutritional deficiencies, and develop personalized dietary plans.
- Provide evidence-based recommendations on nutrition-related concerns such as weight management, allergies, eating disorders, and chronic conditions.
- Monitor progress, provide ongoing support, and adjust dietary plans as needed.

Nutrition Education and Activities:

- Develop and deliver engaging nutrition education sessions and activities to students, promoting the importance of healthy eating habits and making informed food choices.
- Organize and participate in nutrition-related events, workshops, and awareness campaigns to create a positive food culture within the school community.
- Collaborate with teachers and other school staff to integrate nutrition education into the curriculum and promote healthy food options within the school environment.

Documentation and Reporting:

- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of consultations, meal plans, and other relevant documentation.
- Prepare regular reports on program effectiveness, student progress, and areas for improvement.
- Ensure compliance with confidentiality and data protection policies.

**Job Type**: Contractual / Temporary
Contract length: 12 months

**Salary**: ₹25,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
