**Job Description: Architectural DraughtsmanKey Responsibilities**:

- **Prepare Detailed Drawings**:

- Create detailed architectural drawings, blueprints, and plans based on sketches, specifications, and calculations provided by architects and engineers.
- Draft layouts for construction projects, including floor plans, elevations, sections, and detailed construction drawings.
- **Collaborate with Architects and Engineers**:

- Work closely with architects to understand design concepts and translate them into accurate technical drawings.
- Coordinate with engineers to ensure structural, mechanical, and electrical elements are properly integrated into the design.
- **Use of CAD Software**:

- Utilize computer-aided design (CAD) software such as AutoCAD, Revit, or other specialized software to create and modify drawings.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of CAD tools and industry standards.
- **Review and Revise Drawings**:

- Ensure drawings adhere to building codes, regulations, and technical standards.
- Make revisions to drawings as required based on feedback from project teams or changes in design specifications.
- **Project Documentation**:

- Maintain comprehensive records of all drawings and revisions.
- Assist in preparing project documentation, including material lists, schedules, and construction specifications.
- **Site Coordination and Support**:

- Occasionally visit construction sites to gather data or verify measurements and ensure that the work aligns with the drawings.
- Provide technical support and clarification to construction teams during the building process.
- **Quality Control**:

- Ensure accuracy and precision in all drawings to avoid errors in construction.
- Check drawings for compliance with relevant regulations and standards.

**Qualifications and Skills**:

- **Education**:

- Diploma or degree in architectural drafting, architecture, or a related field.
- Professional certification in CAD software is often advantageous.
- **Technical Skills**:

- Proficient in CAD software (AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, etc.).
- Strong understanding of architectural design principles and construction methods.
- Knowledge of building codes, standards, and regulations.
- **Analytical and Detail-Oriented**:

- Ability to analyze complex design requirements and convert them into accurate technical drawings.
- Meticulous attention to detail to ensure precision in all work.
- **Communication and Collaboration**:

- Strong communication skills to work effectively with architects, engineers, and other stakeholders.
- Ability to collaborate and coordinate with team members on complex projects.
- **Problem-Solving**:

- Ability to identify and resolve issues in design and construction plans.

**Experience**:

- Prior experience as a draughtsman or in a similar role within the construction or architectural industry is preferred.
- Experience working with various types of buildings, including residential, commercial, and industrial structures.

**Work Environment**:

- Typically work in an office setting, but occasional site visits may be required.
- Work may involve long hours, particularly when working to meet project deadlines.

Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹40,000.00 per month
