The responsibility of the admission counsellor is to influence potential students to enroll in the programmes offered by the college by giving them correct & complete information about the programmes in the college and the admission process. She/he will be responsible for sourcing new prospective opportunities and closing the admissions to achieve targets and will play a key role in increasing admissions, generating leads, qualifying prospects managing the maximum number of admissions and working under the direct supervision of the Principal of the college.

Job Responsibilities:

- Be passionate about the work.

Have a set target for obtaining quality admissions. Adherence to the admission process from plan to closure.

Meet personal and team admission targets using various customer methods (Inbound, Referrals, Outbound, presentations, networking etc.)

Contact potential students to inform them about relevant programs using scripts to provide -relevant information about program features and the facilities in the college.

Ask pertinent questions to understand the students requirements and evaluate potential students skills, needs and builds productive long lasting relationships Attend meeting, events and trainings to keep abreast of the latest developments Maintain and expand student database. Implement all activities for the Institute. It includes BTL (Below the Line) activities such as direct mail campaigns, trade shows, brand promotion activities, telemarketing, exhibitions and targeted marketing etc.

Education Qualification & Experience required:

- Graduate & MBA would be an Advantage
