**Job Summary**:
The **Commis 1 - Continental Cuisine** is responsible for preparing and cooking food items under the supervision of senior chefs, focusing on Continental dishes such as pastas, grills, roasts, soups, and sauces. The role includes managing mise-en-place, maintaining high standards of hygiene, and supporting smooth kitchen operations.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Prepare and cook Continental dishes such as steaks, pasta, grilled meats, soups, salads, and sauces according to standard recipes.
- Assist with daily mise-en-place: chopping vegetables, marinating proteins, and preparing garnishes.
- Follow proper portion control and food presentation standards.
- Ensure the cleanliness and organization of your workstation at all times.
- Operate kitchen equipment (ovens, grills, fryers, etc.) safely and efficiently.
- Support the Chef de Partie and Demi Chef in day-to-day kitchen operations.
- Monitor and minimize food waste.
- Comply with food safety and hygiene standards (HACCP).
- Assist in receiving, labeling, and storing kitchen supplies and ingredients.
- Maintain a high level of personal hygiene and grooming.

**Requirements**:

- Minimum 1-2 years of experience in a professional kitchen, preferably with a focus on Continental cuisine.
- Knowledge of basic Continental cooking techniques and ingredients.
- Culinary diploma or certification preferred.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
- Good communication skills and team-oriented attitude.
- Willingness to learn and grow within the kitchen team.
- Flexibility to work shifts, weekends, and public holidays.

Pay: ₹18,000.00 - ₹20,000.00 per month
