Job Description - DOT NET Technical Architect - Offshore

Key Responsibilities:
1. System Architecture and Design:
○ Architect and design the overall system, ensuring scalability, reliability, compliance, and optimal performance within certain infrastructure and cost constraints.

○ Collaborate with U.S. based stakeholders to understand and refine requirements, and translating the business needs into high-level architectural design.

○ Convert high-level design into detailed low-level design proposals, with an appropriate level of abstraction to accommodate foreseeable extensions.

○ Invest in building the architectural runway, continuously identifying and prioritizing technical debt.

○ Plan and optimize legacy on-premise and IaaS deployments, with experience migrating / transforming into a future state which relies on PaaS services.

2. Backend Development:
○ Lead the development efforts for multiple apps integrating with our flagship image processing system, establishing API contracts and service-level agreements.

○ Implement and optimize backend processes for efficient handling of large datasets including image and video data.

○ Proactively handle spikes in load and transient issues using multi-threaded development concepts and exception handling techniques such as async/await, guards, threading channels, eventual consistency.

○ Utilize asynchronous jobs and large-scale queuing/eventing systems and similar technologies for seamless reliable and fail proof communication between components.

3. Frontend Development:
○ Oversee the Angular frontend development, emphasizing responsive design and user experience.

○ Keen eye for usability and passion for simplicity, employing CSS in Material Tailwind or equivalent.

○ Leverage RxJS library and Observables for real-time updates and streaming data flow.

○ Implement state management using Akita, Elf or NgRx store to ensure a robust and scalable frontend architecture especially in the context of data aggregation calculations and dashboard analytics.

4. Database Management:
○ Design, implement, and optimize NoSQL databases such as Elasticsearch to handle vast amounts of semi-structured and unstructured data to enable efficient queries.

○ Integrate and manage PostgreSQL databases for structured data storage.

○ Confidently plan and oversee a migration of large database clusters considering edge case scenarios.

5. Performance Optimization:
○ Identify and address performance bottlenecks, memory leaks to ensure the system meets the stringent requirements of law enforcement agencies.

○ Implement caching strategies, database optimizations, and other performance tuning techniques.

○ Design for self-healing involving backoff and recovery strategies to ensure survivability across the network and distributed infrastructure.

6. AI and ML Integration:
○ Collaborate with data scientists to continuously integrate updated AI and ML algorithms into the product.

○ Ensure seamless integration of advanced computer vision models for enhanced image processing capabilities.

○ Design comprehensive coverage in terms of quality gates and test harnesses to automatically verify efficacy of newly delivered model updates.

7. Collaboration and Communication:
○ Work closely with U.S. based teams to provide regular updates, gather feedback, and align development efforts with customer expectations.

○ Conduct knowledge transfer sessions and documentation for team members.

○ Appreciate cultural gaps and stylistic differences between India and U.S. teams.

○ Enforce coding standards with an increasing degree of automation.

8. Security and Compliance:
○ Implement robust security measures to safeguard sensitive law enforcement data and criminal justice information.

○ Ensure compliance with relevant industry standards and regulations.

**Job Type**: Part-time

Pay: ₹180,000.00 - ₹200,000.00 per month

Expected hours: 30 per week
