Laboratory Chemist

To carry out different reaction in lab and pilot scale to meet the departmental objective and support Production.
While carrying out Lab activities, follow to full fill EHS, RCMS, ISO 45001, ISO14001, ISO9001 requirements.
To contribute in Environmental management program for continuous improvement and ensure safe execution of all work & full compliance
with all EHS standards.

EHS / RCMS Responsibility:
1. To ensure safe working conditions in lab & safe execution of all work and full compliance with all EHS standard
2. Safety and Environment is a primary accountability which takes priority.
Main Tasks:
1. Arrangement of Lab set up for experiment to develop new processes, products and day to day troubleshooting for plant product.
2. Continuous improvement in existing products process optimization, cost reduction, reduce waste generation & technical knowledge for
plant troubleshooting, as well as new and existing manufacturing activities
3. To understand plant operation to improve the productivity
4. To identify key task area to improve quality and yield, decrease of batch cycle time, decrease generation of waste effluent
5. Preparation of different formulation as per requirement.
6. To prepare the new product SOP’s and lab project summary report.
7. To identify the new product characterization and quality risk analysis of new product.
8. New vendor qualification of existing and upcoming products raw material and report to the concern person.
9. Support ETP to treat the wastewater with cost effective.
10. To maintain lab inventory
11. To prepare and maintain EHS, RCMS, ISO 9001:2015 ISO 14001:2015 and ISO 45001 document.
12. Calibration of Lab Instruments.
13. To prepare PR for purchase for basic necessities of lab.
14. To record all the data of lab experiment.

Principle Accountability:
1. Accountable to maintain and execute planned lab experiment as per target. 2. Accountable for timely action and reporting
3. Accountable for accuracy and reproducibility of results
4. Accountable for documentation and record keeping
5. Accountable for maintaining good housekeeping
6. Accountable for monitoring the waste generation and proper disposal
7. Accountable for Implementation of ISO 9001:2015 and ISO 14001:2015 & RC 8. Maintain discipline, better and safe working practice in the
lab
