We are seeking a skilled Java API Architect to join our team and lead the design and development of robust, scalable, and efficient APIs. As a Java API Architect, you will play a pivotal role in defining the architecture and implementing best practices for API development within our organization. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements, design API solutions, and ensure seamless integration with existing systems.

**Responsibilities**:

- **Architectural Design**: Design scalable and resilient APIs using Java technologies, ensuring alignment with business goals and industry best practices.
- **API Development**: Lead the development of high-quality APIs, implementing security measures, error handling, and performance optimizations.
- **Technical Leadership**: Provide technical guidance and mentorship to development teams, promoting code quality, reusability, and maintainability.
- **Collaboration**: Collaborate with product managers, software engineers, and other stakeholders to understand requirements and translate them into scalable API solutions.
- **API Documentation**: Create comprehensive documentation for APIs, including specifications, usage guidelines, and best practices for developers.
- **Performance Optimization**: Identify performance bottlenecks and implement optimizations to enhance API responsiveness and scalability.
- **Security**: Implement robust security measures, including authentication, authorization, and data encryption, to protect APIs from security threats.
- **Continuous Improvement**: Stay updated on emerging technologies and industry trends in API development, advocating for the adoption of new tools and techniques to improve efficiency and reliability.

**Qualifications**:

- **Expertise in Java Development**: Extensive experience in Java programming, with a deep understanding of core concepts and design patterns.
- **API Design and Development**: Proven track record of designing and developing scalable APIs using frameworks such as Spring Boot, JAX-RS, or similar technologies.
- **Architectural Skills**: Strong architectural skills with the ability to design robust, scalable, and high-performance systems.
- **Problem-Solving Abilities**: Excellent problem-solving skills with a focus on identifying innovative solutions to complex technical challenges.
- **Communication Skills**: Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
- **Team Collaboration**: Experience working in cross-functional teams and collaborating effectively with stakeholders from diverse backgrounds.
