**The Opportunity**:
As a platform engineer on the Ethos team, you will work closely with our senior engineers to develop, deploy, and maintain our Kubernetes-based infrastructure. This role offers an excellent opportunity to grow your skills in cloud-native technologies and DevOps practices. **What you'll Do**:
Contribute to the design, development, and maintenance of the K8s platform for container orchestration.
Perform day-to-day operational tasks such as upgrades and patching of the Kubernetes platform.
Handle tasks and projects with Agile methodologies such as Scrum.
Opportunities to contribute to upstream CNCF projects - Cluster API, ACK, ArgoCD among several others.
Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies in container orchestration and cloud-native development.
Participate in on-call rotation to resolve and get to the bottom of root cause as part of Incident & Problem management. What you need to succeed:
B.Tech Degree in Computer Science or equivalent practical experience.
Minimum of 5-10 years of experience working with Kubernetes.
Certified Kubernetes Administrator and/or Developer/Security certifications encouraged.
Strong software development skills in Python, Node.js, Go, Bash or similar languages.
Experienced with AWS, Azure, or other cloud platforms. (AWS/Azure certifications encouraged.)
Understanding of cloud network architectures (VNET/VPC/Nat Gateway/Envoy etc.).
A solid understanding of time-series monitoring tools (such as Prometheus, Grafana, etc.).
Familiarity with the 12-factor principles and software development lifecycle.
Knowledge about GitOps, ArgoCD, and Helm with equivalent experience will be have advantage.
