**ABOUT THE ROLE**

This is a fulltime role is based in New Delhi, India and reports to a Senior Campaigner in Purpose's Delhi office.

**As an Associate Campaigner, you will**:

- Supporting conceptualisation of campaign ideas, audience prioritisation, messaging and tactics
- Building messaging, tactic and content plans and strategy for campaign
- Planning and delivering on-ground and online events, which could include but not limited to community meetings; co-creation workshops; roadshows; creative installations; and expert panel discussions
- Introduce, set up meetings and forge strong connections and opportunities for yourself and the team with local organisations and individuals that could be relevant to campaign activities, including civil society groups, think tanks, citizen groups and environmental organisations
- Work closely with creative team members to create campaign content/ collateral, including but not limited to social media graphics, AV collateral, posters, standees, live installations
- Continuous social listening and identification of opportunities for rapid response in campaigns
- Identify digital opportunities for engagement and support digital engagement for campaigns
- Support meetings and building relationships with government officials and ministries
- Assist in setting up and inputting on monitoring and evaluation tools for the campaign
- Work closely with a multi-functional team; including building joint strategies; co-creation of work plans and collaborative delivery of tactics
- Support project teams in vendor management and liaising with various stakeholders & partners

**ABOUT YOU/MUST HAVES**:

- 3-4 years of professional experience
- Interest and some experience in political advocacy, organizing, digital activism, public policy, or creative campaigns
- Proven ability to deliver creative campaigns that move people to action
- Ability to work under pressure and tight deadlines, and stay organized to get a campaign out the door
- Strong writing and communication skills
- Demonstrable strong analytical and strategic thinking and campaign planning skills
- Strong teamwork skills, comfortable in a highly collaborative team culture and a hierarchical team structure
