Product Owner

As a Product Owner, you will play an integral role in shaping the future of the Anaqua product suite in the innovation industry. As part of our growing product team, you will be a critical link between the Clients, Internal Stakeholders, Product and Engineering teams to help facilitate communication, and solution new features.

We are looking for an energetic team player with excellent written and verbal communications skills as well as solid analytical and solutioning skills who is passionate about product management and is excited to learn.

- Work with the Product and the Engineering teams’ leaders to define product roadmap.
- Work with Product Managers to manage the product lifecycle and prioritize the product backlog accordingly.
- Gather, synthesize, and articulate market and client requirements and best practices for current and future product roadmap items.
- Work with Product and Engineering teams to understand technical issues and their impact as well as identify possible solutions.
- Translate business and customer needs into detailed user stories in the backlog.
- Collaborate with UI/UX designers to create wireframes as required.
- Manage the product roadmap deliverables and release timelines.
- Execute release roll-out including documentation, troubleshooting, impact analysis, resolution proposals, and client feedback for continuous improvement.
- Liaising with the product team and end-users to deliver updates.
- Collaborate with partners and other product managers (internally or externally) for visioning, solutioning and product integration.

**Skills and Experience Required**:
Technical & Soft Skills
- High energy team player. Very strong oral and written communication skills (English)
- Ability to prioritize effectively.
- Quick learner who is motivated to learn about R&D, intellectual property, and agile product management.
- Strong desire to make things happen. Willing to travel 10%.
- Excellent people skills to interact with clients and cross-functional teams.

Experience
- Experience working in software development, ideally as a Product Owner, Scrum Master or other role in agile software development.
- Experience working in Research & Development and / or the IP Legal industry.
- Computer Science or Engineering degree or analytical/ technical work experience.
- Must be available to start within 30 days of offer to hire.
