Accounts and Finance Executive

**Job Summary**:
**Responsibilities**:
- **Accounts Payable and Receivable**:
- Process and record invoices, ensuring proper documentation and approvals.
- Manage vendor relationships and resolve payment discrepancies.
- Generate and send out invoices to customers accurately and timely.
- Track and follow up on outstanding receivables.
- Prepare and process payments to vendors and employees.
- **General Ledger and Bookkeeping**:
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records.
- Perform bank reconciliations and ensure accuracy of cash balances.
- Assist with month-end and year-end closing procedures.
- Prepare journal entries and reconcile general ledger accounts.
- **Financial Reporting and Analysis**:
- Assist in the preparation of financial statements (e.g., balance sheet, income statement, cash flow statement).
- Contribute to budget preparation and monitoring.
- Perform basic financial analysis and identify variances.
- Generate ad-hoc financial reports as required.
- **Compliance and Documentation**:
- Ensure compliance with relevant accounting standards and regulations.
- Maintain organized and complete financial documentation.
- Assist with internal and external audits.
- **Other Responsibilities**:
- Assist with payroll processing.
- Handle petty cash transactions.
- Provide administrative support to the finance department.
- Participate in process improvement initiatives.
**Qualifications**:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Minimum 2-3 years of proven experience in an accounting or finance role.
- Strong understanding of basic accounting principles (GAAP or Ind AS).
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., Tally, SAP, QuickBooks) and MS Office Suite, especially Excel.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
