Presentation Designer

The Senior Designer will work under the direction of the creative services manager to support the elevation of the company brand by coordinating, collaborating and working with project teams to produce high quality marketing deliverables that promote, position, and market NewCo.

**Duties and Responsibilities**:

- Create effective and innovative presentations, templates and deliverables that promote the brand while working with existing templates and brand guidelines under the direction of the creative director and art director. Uphold brand guidelines and have a strong knowledge of design standards, follow established processes and best practices for the design and creation of proposals
- Develop compelling diagrams, charts and data visualizations to make complex concepts easy to digest
- Develop, tag and maintain templates for client deliverables that can be reused
- Create and organize file structures, slide tagging and asset management
- Stay current with medium best-practices and standards, as well as related technology and systems. Suggest improvements in processes, templates and workflows
- Work under pressure, handling tight turn times and a range of tasks and projects at the same time
- Collaborate with peers to process work efficiently (e.g., when appropriate, split large or time-sensitive requests to ensure that deadlines are met)
- Conceptualize and develop templates, response content, and improve and maintain response repositories in collaboration with the Creative team.

**Qualifications**:

- Bachelor’s Degree (B.A.) from four-year college or university in Graphic Design, or a related field of study.
- 5+ years of professional design experience
- Excellent command of the English language - ability to edit and organize information, ability to clearly illustrate complex technical concepts, and create accurate procedural and reference information
- Have the ability to take creative direction
- Experience working as part of globally distributed team
- Ability to work independently with limited supervision
- Have a passion for learning and expanding your design skillset
- Power user capabilities with Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook, Visio) required
- Proficient working in Adobe Creative Suite: Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Dreamweaver, Acrobat Pro required.
- Print and web design, layout, and typography skills required
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, required
- Experience in writing and editing graphical, technically-related, content and creating visual diagrams and infographics
- Good understanding of branding concepts required
- Experience with HTML, HTML5, XML, CSS, PHP, ASP. Ner, JavaScript and jQuery a plus.

Mathematical Skills

Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as dimensions, proportions, discounts, margins, and percentages. Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
