Position: Duty Doctor - General Medicine

Location: Coimbatore

Experience: Minimum 3 years in General Medicine

Qualifications: MBBS/MD in General Medicine

/Part-time

Overview:
As a Duty Doctor, you will be responsible for providing medical care to patients who come to the clinic for consultation. You will be required to diagnose and treat common illnesses and injuries, as well as provide preventive care and health education. The role may involve working on a rotational shift basis, including weekends and holidays.

Key Responsibilities:
1. Conduct routine check-ups and provide treatment to patients with general medical conditions

2. Order and interpret diagnostic tests, such as blood work, X-rays, and other laboratory tests

3. Evaluate patient medical history, perform physical examinations and make accurate diagnoses

4. Prescribe medications, taking into consideration the patient's medical history, allergies and potential drug interactions

5. Collaborate with other medical professionals to develop comprehensive treatment plans for patients

6. Monitor patient progress and adjust treatments as needed

7. Provide patient education on disease prevention and healthy lifestyle choices

8. Adhere to all relevant medical procedures, laws, and regulations

9. Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records and documentation

10. Ensure compliance with infection control protocols

11. Participate in continuous medical education and keep up-to-date with advancements in the medical field

Salary : 45k to 50k

**Requirements**:

- MBBS/MD degree in General Medicine
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in General Medicine
- Valid medical license and registration
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong analytical and decision-making abilities
- Willingness to work on a rotational shift basis, including weekends and holidays
- Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: ₹45,000.00 - ₹50,000.00 per month

Schedule:

- Day shift
- Morning shift

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Coimbatore, Tamil Nadu: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (required)

**Education**:

- Bachelor's (preferred)

**Experience**:

- Physician: 1 year (preferred)
