Maintenance Scheduler

Plans and schedules maintenance work. Creates work instructions, sequence of tasks and duration of tasks for job plans. Utilizes management systems and tools (such as CMMS, IMPACT, Primavera, MS Project) to plan, schedule, communicate and track maintenance activity ensuring alignment with production/operations coordinators. Oversees contractor schedules for equipment delivery and execution.

Supports major customers/clients and leads projects of medium scope and complexity under limited supervision. Detailed knowledge of most aspects of the work function.

About the position

Chevron ENGINE has an exciting opportunity for a Maintenance Scheduler to join the ENGINE Operations team. Reporting to the Maintenance Scheduling Lead, this role will be based in Chevron’s office in Bengaluru.

Chevron ENGINE supports global operations, and work hours are aligned to business needs. Standard working hours are 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM or 1:30 PM to 10:30 PM, Monday to Friday. These may evolve based on operational or business requirements.

Key responsibilities

The Maintenance Scheduler is a team member of the Maintenance and Turnaround organization within the Chevron ENGINE Center and develops Maintenance Execution Schedules to Chevron's Shale and Tight assets (S&T). The Maintenance Scheduler will collaborate across multiple levels of the organization, and with multi-disciplined teams from Operations, Engineering, Maintenance, and Reliability disciplines. This position will develop detailed schedules to execute routine and technical project work. Responsibilities will include integrating Routine Maintenance planning activities with technical project planning activities.- Activities consolidated by craft, area, equipment, availability- Schedule is ‘Resource-levelled’, (resource work demands are balanced against resource availability) to produce a viable schedule for the period- All potential Simultaneous Operations (SIMOPS) are identified and optimized.- Working within the Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) and other digital systems supporting maintenance activities. Prioritizing the most efficient use of resources and equipment- Understanding access requirements for equipment- Liaising with Operations and Maintenance Coordinators, Specialists and Vendors- Liaising with support functions such as logistics and materials- Understand resource levels across regions and ability to execute work- Understand Equipment constraints across regions and how it affects ability to execute work- Understand Current Production constraints affecting maintenance execution

To be considered for this role, applicants should have:
- Degree in relevant Engineering or Maintenance Discipline &/or Experienced trade background- Prior Maintenance Scheduling experience in oil/gas facilities- 5+ years of field experience supporting the scheduling and execution of maintenance activities for onshore oil and gas assets- Demonstrated knowledge and experience with non-turnaround maintenance work prioritization, scheduling, executing, and closing out maintenance work.- Understands sequencing of tasks associated with maintenance of a S&T facility equipment including pressure vessels, piping, excavations, tanks, etc- Familiar with management systems and tools (such as SAP, CMMS, IMPACT, Primavera, MS Project, or similar)
