**Job Title: SAP HANA Administrator**

**Key Responsibilities**:

- **Database Management**:Administer, manage, and maintain SAP HANA databases.
- **Performance Tuning**:Perform database tuning and performance monitoring to ensure efficient operation.
- **Database Design**:Implement and maintain the database design, including creating database structures for new projects.
- **Backup and Recovery**:Handle backup and recovery operations to safeguard data integrity.
- **User Maintenance**:Manage user roles and authorizations, ensuring secure access to the database.
- **Troubleshooting**:Resolve database performance issues, capacity issues, replication, and other data-related problems.
- **Upgrades and Patches**:Implement SAP HANA upgrades, patches, and other maintenance tasks.
- **Data Replication**:Manage and monitor data replication processes.
- **Collaboration**:Work closely with IT project managers, database programmers, and other IT staff.
- **Documentation**:Create database reports and provide comprehensive documentation.
- **24/7 Support**:Provide 24/7 support for critical database issues and manage crisis situations.

**Qualifications**:

- **Education**: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- **Experience**: Proven experience as an SAP HANA Administrator or in a similar role.
- **Skills**:

- Strong understanding of SAP HANA technology and database administration.
- Proficiency in database tuning and performance monitoring.
- Experience with backup and recovery operations.
- Knowledge of user maintenance, roles, and authorizations.
- Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively with a team.
- Strong documentation and reporting skills.
- **Certifications**: Relevant certifications such as SAP HANA, ITIL, or other related certifications are a plus.
