EXPERIENCE - 2 to 5 years

DEGREE - Associate’s Degree or up to 3 years of College or Technical School, science field

**JOB DESCRIPTION -**

**Job Title - **Plant Operator**

Department / Division - Solvents Production

Reporting to - Production Supervisor

**Overall Job Roles & Responsibilities**

To operate plant and equipment in safe and cost effective manner follow SOPs, work instructions, record readings, and report up normality to supervisor for corrective actions.

**Main Responsibilities & Accountabilities**

1. To log down parameters and plant status and operate plant in smooth, uninterrupted safe way.

2. Load and off-load the products and the raw materials and prepare daily production and consumption, daily process log sheets.

3. Remain vigilant & ensure smooth operation of plant as board man from PLC, report supervisor immediately if found any upset in the panel readings, & take corrective action accordingly

4. Verification of DCS parameters with local instrumentation and Participates in all inspection activities.

5. Follow-up on all maintenance requirements as per work permit system requirements to ensure safety of the plant.

6. Follow work permit procedures according to types of jobs and prepares equipment for required job as per standard procedure.

7. Checking tank farm, take dip of it, tank transfer and arrange for sampling if needed.

8. Other assigned jobs by the Supervisor as need arises.

9. Rotational jobs to cover duties of employees on vacation.

10. Ensure housekeeping of the assigned area

- Plant Operator - Solvent: 2 years (preferred)
- Oil & Chemical: 2 years (preferred)

**Language**:

- English (preferred)
